The purpose of this site is to enable the Public Sector, Industry and other interested parties to work together to develop and agree policies and standards for the exchange of public transport information of all sorts, based on the Transmodel abstract standard.
Use of Transmodel standard
Documentation of the current pre-standard for Transmodel is available from the British Standards Institute. A new version (v5.1) is being voted (Autumn 2005) by CEN to become a formal full Standard EN) - and documentation of this will also be available from BSI once it has been adopted.
